Dollar Tree "Grows" On Bartlett House - From Monday, June 14th, through Monday, June 28, the Dollar Tree in the Wal-Mart Shopping Plaza, 4-H Camp Road, held a goods drive for Bartlett House. Special store items useful to Bartlett House were on display near the register. As supporters picked up and purchased the items, they were placed in a collection bin for Bartlett House. What a great way to save money and support Bartlett House at the same time.

It's Not Too Late!!! - We've just received word from the Dollar Tree that they are extending the donation period for Bartlett House. The collection will go on all this week (July 5 -July 12) and perhaps into the following week as well. So, if you have not stopped by to donate a few items for Bartlett House, it's not too late! Thank you Dollar Tree! And thank you to all those who participated in this wonderful event.

All Washed Up! - On Wednesday, June 23, Quality One Pre-Owned Auto Center, in Westover, hosted a car wash with 100% of the proceeds going to the Bartlett House. In addition to the proceeds from the car wash, Quality One donated an extra $100.00 for every car sold that day. The car wash began at 9:00 am and continued till 7:00 pm. Froggy 94.9 conducted a live broadcast on location from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Thanks to all who stopped by to support the Bartlett House and a great big Thank You to Quality One!

Another one in the books! - As we wind up another successful fiscal year here at the Bartlett House, we would be remiss if we did not stop to express our appreciation for the broad range of support we have enjoyed from the surrounding community. Churches, businesses, schools, benevolent organizations, and individuals from all walks of life have offered up their support by donating their time, talent, money, goods and words of encouragement. Bartlett House stands at the threshold of a major evolution in homeless solutions. Exciting changes are in store, changes that will enhance every aspect of Bartlett House services. While we can’t say much at this time, check back from time to time, as the big news will come sooner than later!

Independence Day Cookout- On Sunday, July 4th, Bartlett House will hold its annual Independence Day Cookout. This client only event will feature burgers, dogs and many other cookout favorites! We hope to start flipping burgers around 12:30pm and start serving at 1:00pm. There will be plenty of food preparation and set up to be done Sunday morning, so volunteers will be needed and welcomed! We here at the Bartlett House are all about Independence Day. In fact, we celebrate Independence many times a year. Each time a single client or family successfully leaves the Bartlett House, it is indeed their Independence Day!
